MAURICE A. YOUNG

Maurice A. Young, 48, 2039 S. Royce St., died Thursday at a Sioux City hospital after a heart attack.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Ottumwa, Iowa. The Rev. James Mathews, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Ottumwa.

Mr. Young was born May 2, 1921, in Morris, Minn. He married Peggy Brown July 16, 1944, in California. The couple lived in Ottumwa and Des Moines before moving to Sioux City a year ago. He was a salesman and manager of the LaSalle Extension University.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Pfc. Michael, stationed in Okinawa; a daughter, Mrs. Francis Didio of Hollywood, Fla.; six brothers, Clayton, Raymond, Charles, Dale and Earl, all of Ottumwa, and Robert of Rockford, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Gretna Vest of Clinton, Iowa, and Mrs. Connie Vest and Mrs. Majorie Cullinan, both of Ottumwa;, his mother, Mrs. Ora F. Hollman of Ottumwa; and three grandchildren.
