LIFELONG S. C. RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. Grace De Raad Succumbs to Three Weeks' Illness

A, lifelong resident of Sioux City, Mrs. Grace May De Raad, 36 years old, 1216 Leech street, died in a Sioux City hospital Wednesday following an illness of three weeks.

Mrs. De Raad was born in Sioux City in 1893. She attended the public schools here and was active in social and civic affairs.

Surviving her are: her widower, W. J. De Raad; a son, Lester, and three daughters, Mable, Janette and a 3-week-old baby; her father, Ruben Ferdig; five sisters, Mrs. Lydia Jones, Daisy Ferdig, Mrs. Mary Houser, Leona Ferdig and Mrs. Lena Houser all of Sioux City, and three brothers, Louis and Leo Ferdig. of St. Paul. Minn., and Alvin, of Sioux City.
