15 February 2009SIOUX CITY -- Alice Shkurensky Pratt of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.
No services are planned at this time. She donated her body to the Mayo Clinic to continue her teaching. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Alice was a longtime elementary school teacher in the Sioux City Public Schools.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Squire of Roanoke, Va., and Dr. Diane and her husband, Paul Wolff, of Roanoke; a son, Doug and his wife, Stephanie Pratt of Belvedere, Calif.; grandsons, Kellen Squire of Charlottesville, Va., and Michael Pratt of Belvedere; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Squire; two nieces; and a nephew.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland.
