ELMER LIVERMORE

Elmer Lloyd Livermore, 76, of the Indian Hills Care Center, 1800 Indian Hills Drive, died Monday at the care center after a long illness. He was a former resident of the Anthon and Oto, Iowa area.

Mr. Livermore was born on Sept. 4, 1898 at Anthon and lived most of his life in that area. He farmed before his retirement in 1963. He lived in California, Texas and Sioux City before moving to Correctionville, Iowa in 1971. He moved to the Indian Hills Care Center in 1974.

He married Mary Coyle on Sept. 4, 1930 at Worthington, Minn., and she died in 1971.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Freemond (Myrtle) Peck, of Sioux City; three sons, Charles, Raymond and Andrew, all of Fullerton, Calif.; four grandchildren, and seven sisters, Mrs. Clifford(Frances) Yockey, Mrs. Violet Yockey and Mrs. Kenneth (Beulah) Iddings, all of Anthon, and Mrs Otis (Blanche) Hall, of Sioux City, and Mrs. Tony (Helen) Elsick of Buffalo, Mo. and Mrs. Leo (Loretta) McDermott of Oto.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon with the Rev. J. G. Skahill officiating. Burial will be in the church cememtery.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the Walter Funeral Home in Anthon.
