Note: His mother's maiden name was Wood and his wife's maiden name was Krollman.

HARRY HOPKINSON

Harry Hopkinson, 71, lifetime Sioux City resident, died at his home Sunday.

Mr. Hopkinson was born October 28, 1883. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal church, Doric lodge of Platte, S. D., Consistory of Yankton, S.D., Abu-Bekr Shrine and Ben Hur lodge in Sioux City. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, 490.

He began working for the Milwaukee railroad in 1903 and became an engineer in 1908. He was chief engineer of division 490 several years. He retired May 15, 1947.

Survivors are the widow, Elizabeth; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Spayde of Sioux City; a brother Erbest of Long Beach, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Smith of Moville and Mrs Alice Mote of Pueblo, Colo.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Larkin funeral home.

HARRY HOPKINSON

Funeral services for Harry Hopkinson, 71, who died at his home Sunday, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Episcopal church.

Rev. Arthur W. Flippinger will officiate. Burial will be at Graceland park cemetery under direction of the Larkin funeral home. The body was taken to the residence Monday afternoon.

Pallbearers will be T. D. LaPlante, J. J. McCrane, L. C. Sarosy, Ford Brunson, R. L. Hallifield, L. F. Brogan. Honorary pallbearers will be Emil O. Bland, Perl Bryan, R.T. Moore, George Gaskell, Charles Tythcott, Amos Kiroy, J. W. Hubbs and D. W. Thompson.
