Will Hunting, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Hunting, of this place, died in his home in Sioux Falls, S. D., on Thursday of last week following a year's Illness. The cause of death was cancer.Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon and burial was made in the Sioux Falls cemetery. The pall bearers were young men from the Y. M. C. A. of which Mr. Hunting had been secretary-treasurer for the past ten years.
The deceased grew to manhood in the vicinity of Sloan.
He is survived by his widow, one son, Will, Jr., two daughters, Elizabeth Ruth - and Mary Alice; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Hunting, of Sloan; four brothers, and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Corr of Onawa and Mrs. Sadie Collor.
Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Hunting of Sloan; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hunting, of Correctionville; Mr. and Mrs. John Hunting and daughter, Mrs. Morgan of Hartwick, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hunting, of Whiting; Mrs. Carrie Corr, of Onawa and Mrs. Sadie Collor of 'Scotts Bluff, Neb., attended the funeral.— Sloan Star
