SIOUX CITY -- Terri Raye Dorsey, 50, of Sioux City, became one of God's angels on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008.

Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dan Lozer officiating. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Terri was born on March 10, 1958, to Jerry and Mary (Baker) Goetsch. She attended Sioux City Schools, graduating from West High School in 1976. She was a gymnast, cheerleader and on the golf team. She graduated from WIT in 1977, with a dental assistant degree. She worked for Dr. Whitehill for 10 years.

Terri and John owned and operated businesses for 20 years, Dorsey's Bar and Grill for 10 years, Dorsey's C Store for five years and Dorsey's Triple D for six years, which business was sold due to their illnesses.

Terri's passion in life was her husband and son. They were her soulmates and best friends. She was one of the best entertainers of Sioux City and loved being surrounded by family, friends and her customers.

Terri leaves behind her husband, John Dorsey; a son, Tad Dorsey; her mother, Mary Goetsch; a sister, Tyanne Jacobson; a blood sister, Rose O'Neill; a sister-in-law, Sue Weinmann; a niece; four nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Goetsch; and her father and mother-in-law, John and Erma Dorsey.
