Margaret A. Guzallis, 83, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at Centennial Park Retirement Village in North Platte, Neb.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, Sioux City, with the Rev. Alan Wicks of First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Margaret was born Sept. 15, 1922, in Sioux City to Mikkel and Annie (Aspli) Moen. She attended Sioux City schools and graduated from Central High School.

She married John G. Guzallis Sr. in Sioux City. The couple lived in New Jersey and Sioux City.

She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include two sons, John G. Jr. (Marian) Guzallis of North Platte, Neb., and Dr. Terry (Sandy) Guzallis of Omaha; a sister, Agnes Watt of Sioux City; a brother, Marvin (Marilyn) Moen of Sioux City; four grandchildren, Matt, Christopher, Michael and Katie Guzallis, all of Omaha; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Clara (Alfred) Hauge and Kalma (Olin) Martin; and a brother-in-law, Clifford Watt.

A memorial has been established in her name.
