6 November 2005John "Butch" Rupe, 62, formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, in a Seattle, Wash. hospital.
A celebration of his life was held Oct. 6th in Everett, Wash.
John Rupe was born June 8, 1943. He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Butch was very loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him, but his love is carried on through his gift of organ donation.
Survivors include two sons, J.C. Rupe and Doug and Tina Rupe; his mother, Delores Rupe, and her special friend, George Victor; a sister, Delores and Dick Sturgeon; brothers, Bob "Sunny" and Carol Rupe, Glen and Inez Rupe, Jim Rupe and Don and Cathy Rupe; many nieces and nephews, Delores "Dee" Sturgeon, Denise and Earl Scott, Mark and Brenda Sturgeon and Mike Sturgeon; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Rupe; and a sister-in-law, Mary Rupe.
