Christopher Lee Guerra, 20, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at his residence.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Larkin Northside Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul J. Kelly officiating. The body will be cremated following the service. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Christopher was born on Sept. 1, 1985, in Enid, Okla., the son of Conrado G. Guerra and Petra Garcia. He lived in Enid until he was 5 years of age and then moved to Sioux City with his father. He attended Sioux City schools and graduated in May 2004 from North High School, where he was homecoming king his senior year. He played defense on the varsity football team and was active in choir and soccer. Chris was a musician and singer.

He had a love for life and all it had to give him that was contagious. Everyone who knew him couldn't help but love him. He was a gentle giant, excellent singer and enjoyed dancing. He enjoyed making everyone laugh.

Survivors include his father, Conrado Guerra of Sioux City; his mother, Petra Garcia of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Omar Guerra of Chihuahua Chihuahua, Mexico, Frankie Garcia of Oklahoma, and Jerico Garcia of Oklahoma City; a sister, Eloisa Garcia of Oklahoma City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Julia Guerra.

Honorary pallbearers will be Omar Guerra, Frankie Garcia, Jerico Garcia, Julio Guerra, Luis Ramirez, Gilbert Ramirez, Brian Monahan, De Shaun Williams and Mike Henry.

Memorials in Christopher's name may be directed to the family.
