Susan Lynn Schultz, 46, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at her residence.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Graceland Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Kevin Lee officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Morningside Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.

Susan was born Sept. 10, 1958, in Sioux City, the daughter of Marvin M. and Helen E. (Jones) Thielbar. She graduated from Sioux City East High School in 1977. She worked at Osco Drug Store, Soo Rental, Bomgaars and Mid-Step Services, all in Sioux City.

She was a lifelong member of Morningside Lutheran Church. She was an avid reader and was well known for her drawings and artistic ability.

Survivors include seven brothers, Gary and his wife, Marie of Adrian, Mich., Dean of Cleveland, Ohio, David and his wife, Pat of South Sioux City, Marvin and his wife, Sue of Sioux City, Dan and his wife, Cindy of Sioux Falls, S.D., Paul and his wife, Gail of Melvindale, Mich., and Jim and his wife, Kay of Key Largo, Fla.; three sisters and their husbands, Janet and Gary Thielbar of Newcastle, Neb., LeAnn and Del Beauchene of Jefferson, S.D., and Barb and Terry Bradley of Sergeant Bluff; several nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly; and a childhood friend, Jim Gunsch.

She was preceded in death her parents; maternal grandmother, Laura Jones; and several great-aunts and great-uncles.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Schultz, Marvin Schultz, Dan Schultz, Mike Bottjen, Kirk Bradley, Justin Dickson, Paul Schultz, Jim Schultz, Jim Gunsch, Gary Schultz and Dean Schultz.

Susan will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
