Elizabeth "Elsie" (Johns) Patterson, 82, formerly of Sioux City, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, in Henderson, Nev.

Private services will be held.

Mrs. Patterson was born daughter of Emil and Geneva Johns. She married William "Bill" Patterson, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a brother and his wife, Raymond and Blondina Johns of Keokuk, Iowa; two sisters, Elvina Wedmore of Lawton, Iowa, and Helen Wegner of California; her daughters and their husbands, Marlene and Bill Addington of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Shirley and Larry Leavitt; a son, Robert "Bobby" Patterson of Henderson, Nev.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Veronica Steinfeld of Sioux City.

Memorials can be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice in Henderson.
