Raymond "Ray" Bullock, 83, of Lake Whales, Fla., formerly of Sioux City, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at his home.

Burial will be in Somerset, Ky.

Ray was born Sept. 19, 1922, in Bent, Ky., the son of William and Martha Bullock. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1943 and was stationed in Sioux City. He spent the next 35 years of his life in Sioux City before moving to West Virginia and later retiring in Florida.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Dennis and Laura of Sioux City, Darrel and Christi of Sioux City, and Lawrence and Stephanie of Winfield, W.Va.; as well as several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters.
