Susan L. Linscott, 54, of Sioux City died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Bruch officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Susan L. Linscott was born Dec. 25, 1950, in Sioux City, the daughter of Barry and Kathryn (Surmach) Delaney. She graduated from Heelan High School.

She was the beloved wife of Ward Linscott Jr., and they were married Oct. 19, 1980. He died Aug. 21, 1983. Susan was a homemaker, who took great pride in raising her children.

She had a multitude of interests including horticulture, crocheting and cross stitching. In addition, she was an avid sports fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. Her true passion was tennis. Susan also enjoyed cooking and entertaining. But, first and foremost, she loved family and friends.

Survivors include four children, Melissa Ivanova and her husband, Ivan of Charlotte, N.C., Kyle Linscott of Mound, Minn., and Emily Linscott and John Linscott, both of Sioux City; three brothers, Randall Delaney of Dakota Dunes, Scott Delaney of Phoenix, Ariz., and James Delaney of Omaha, Neb.; and two grandchildren, Vanka and Ryan Ivanov.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael.

Pallbearers will be Kyle and John Linscott, James Delaney, Donny Gearen, Charles Keleher, Michael Keleher and Corey Cable.
