June Prestage, 80, of Sioux City died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Alex Washington officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

June was born May 30, 1925, in Sioux City, the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Kester) Dunsing.

She married Raymond Hansen on April 1, 1945, in Sioux City. He died Nov. 14, 1961, in Sioux City. She married Walter B. Prestage on May 1, 1964, in Sioux City.

June enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.

Survivors include her husband, Walter of Sioux City; two sons, Greg (Lia) Hansen of Jackson, Neb., and Daniel (Jacki) Hansen of Sioux City; two daughters, Sharon (Leslie) Jensen and Carolynn (Paul) Dunn, all of Sioux City; three stepsons, Wayne (Pam) Prestage of Sioux City, Tom Prestage of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Karl Prestage of Portland, Ore.; a stepdaughter, Carmella Love of Hubbard, Neb.; eight grandchildren, Scott Jensen, Chad Jensen, Cherrie Krayenhagen, Troy Dunn, Greg Hansen Jr., Kari Hansen, Jami Hansen and Travis Hansen; eight stepgrandchildren, James Farley, Stacey Alford, Jessica Prestage, Sarah Prestage, Katie Sailors, Dustin Love, Zach Prestage and Ryan Prestage; and longtime friend, Ardis Tobin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Raymond; a brother, Carl Dunsing; a grandson, Bob Dunn; and a stepgrandson, Jason Farley.

Pallbearers will be Chad Jensen, Scott Jensen, Travis Hansen, Leslie Hansen, Paul Dunn and Dusty Love. Honorary pallbearer will be Barry Krayenhagen.
