16 February 1912Mrs. Ackley Hubbard Dies At Minneapolis
Former Well Known Resident Was Active In St. Thomas Church AffairsMrs. Ackley Hubbard, formerly a resident of Sioux City, who was well known here, died this morning at her home in Minneapolis. Mrs. Hubbard during a residence here was an active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
Her husband, one son and two daughters survive.
The Hubbard family came to Sioux City in 1906 from Spencer, Iowa, where Mr., Hubbard was president of the City Savings Bank. He came to Sioux City to take the position of vice president in the Farmers’ Loan and Trust Bank. Later, he became president of the First National Bank, where he remained until some time in 1909. The family removed from here to Minneapolis shortly after that time.
The burial will take place in Spencer, Iowa on Sunday.
