Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Kennedy, 59, 3700 Jackson Street, who died Monday at a hospital after a long illness, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Newman Flanagan will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 o’clock tonight at the Larkin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kennedy was born October 14, 1888, at Westfield, Iowa. She moved to Sioux City two years ago from Salix.

Survivors include the widower Michael and a son Joseph, both of Sioux City; six brothers, P.F. Tracy of Sioux City, James and Joseph of Westfield, Frank of Elk Point, South Dakota, Emmett of Jefferson, South Dakota and Dr. John S. Tracy of Sioux City and two sisters, Miss Maizie Tracy of Westfield and Mother M. Loraine, O.S.B., St. Paul, Minnesota.
