John J. Burke, 66, 521 Otoe Street, a resident here the last 30 years, died Wednesday at a hospital. His death came after a long illness. He had been employed by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific railroad.

Mr. Burke was born August 10, 1882 in Waverly, Minnesota. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Surviving include the widow, Rose of Sioux City; a son Raymond F., of Rochelle Park, New Jersey, four sisters, Mrs. Ella Reilly of Seattle, Washington, Mrs. Adelaide Nixon and Mrs. Myrtle Johnson of Spokane, Washington and Mrs. Florence Burns of Watertown, Minnesota.

The O’Toole-Gunn Funeral Home has charge.
