LeAnn M. Hobbs-Ortega, 56, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at her residence after a long battle with cancer.

A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 619 Florence Ave. in Sioux City 51109. Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City.

LeAnn was born on Feb. 21, 1962, in Sioux City, the daughter of William C. and Dorothy B. (Moore) Hobbs. LeAnn grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools. She has worked at Unity Point-St. Luke's Hospital for the last five years.

Survivors include her two brothers, Joseph Hobbs of Aztec, N.M., and Alex Perez of Kingsley, Iowa; her sister, Ann Elizabeth Miller; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
