Cynthia Joan "Cindy" Lambert, 61, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with Steve Woodall officiating. Visitation with the family will be noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Cindy was born on March 5, 1957, in Sioux City, the daughter of William and Peggy Lane. She married Martin "Marty" Lambert on Feb. 25, 1977 in Elk Point, S.D. Cindy worked as a patient transporter for Mercy Medical Center for more than 20 years and most recently she spent the last 20 plus years as a collection specialist for First Financial Bank USA.

Cindy's family and grandchildren were her entire world. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending every sporting event of theirs she could. Cindy also loved fishing, long motorcycle rides with her husband, painting and laying in the sun no matter if she was by water or just in a baby pool next to the garage.

Survivors include her husband, Marty Lambert; three daughters, Billie (Joe) Wiggs of Olathe, Kan., Haley Lambert (Alex Beier) of Sioux City, and Desree (David) Smith of Lenexa, Kan.; her father, William Lane; grandchildren, Rylie (Dylan) Urquidi, Peyton and Paige Wiggs, and Kora and Brea Smith; siblings, Debbie Dowdy of Sioux City, Barb (Donnie) Derochie of Sergeant Bluff, Mike (Joan) Graham of Omaha, Pat Graham of Omaha; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy; son, Travis Lambert; and brother-in-law, Andy Lambert.
