Moville, Iowa – Bonnie Lee Conaway, 52, of Moville, died June 22 in the UCLA hospital in Los Angeles, Calif. She became ill during a trip.

Services will be at 2 p.m. June 27 in the Moville United Methodist Church. The Rev. John A. Dowd will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery with the McCulloch Funeral Home in charge.

Miss Conaway was born July 30, 1922, in Moville. She was graduated from Iowa State University in 1943 and worked as social editor for the Rock Island, Ill, Argus and was on the city desk of the Davenport Democrat. She was married to Lloyd L. Smith in November of 1943, in Oakland, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Smith lived in Moville, where he managed the Conaway and Stolley Drug Store from 1943 to 1951. They moved to Los Angeles in 1951, where she was employed as a secretary for 20 years.

She was married to Richard A. Graf in 1962 in Los Angeles. She returned to live in Moville approximately one year. She was a member of the Moville United Methodist Church, Arlington Chapter 428 Order of Eastern Star, past president of the Moville Women’s Club and an officer in the Ingelwood, Calif., Chapter of University Women.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Ruth E. Conaway of Moville.
