South Sioux City – Helen Z. Corbin, 83, 314 W. 25th St., South Sioux City, died Wednesday, September 18, 1991, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Larkin Northside Funeral Home with the Rev. Alex T. Washington, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Little Sioux Cemetery in Smithland, Iowa. Visitation will be 1-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Corbin, the former Helen Z. Witters, was born Feb. 15, 1908, in Lemmon S.D. She married John C. Corbin April 11, 1941, in Soford, Neb. He died Oct. 27, 1974, in Sioux City. She lived most of her life in Sioux City and South Sioux City area. She owned and operated the T.V. Bar in Sioux City for 20 years.

Mrs. Corbin was a Protestant.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Virginia Witters of Madison, Wis.; four nephews; one niece and three great-nieces and nephews.

She was precede in death by two sisters and five brothers.
