Kingsley, Iowa – Francis Barto, 52, of Kingsley, died Friday afternoon in a fire at his home.

Services will be at 9 a.m. April 12 in the Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Norman Meyer will officiate. Burial will be on Arlington Cemetery at Moville with the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home of Kingsley in charge.

Mr. Barto was born Nov. 26, 1923, in Woodbury County. He had been a member of the Church of the Brethren. He had been employed at the Sheltered Workshop in LeMars.

Survivors include a brother, Gene of Moville.
