Mrs. Ralph G. Hunting

Moville, Iowa – Mrs. Ralph G. Hunting, 64, of Moville, Iowa, died Wednesday at her home of long illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Immaculate Conception Church at Moville. The Rev. William B. Devine will officiate. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the McCulloch Funeral Home at Moville.

Mrs. Hunting, the former Eleanor Reynolds, was born Feb. 18, 1915, at Salix. She graduated from Salix High School and Wayne State Teachers College. She lived in Utah about two years where she was a social worker among Japanese internees. She later worked for the Social Services at Sioux City.

She was married April 1, 1944, at Moville. Mr. Hunting died Dec. 17, 1972, at Moville. She taught school at Oto and at Moville several years. She was the first secretary of Woodbury County REC and held that position several years and was Red Cross Chairman in Moville many years.

Mrs. Hunting was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. David (Ellen) Bliek of Marietta, Ga. And Mrs. Bryce (Margaret) Mitchell of Moville; three brothers, John and Lawrence, both of Sioux City and James of Nestor Falls, Ontario; two sisters, Mrs. Sidney (Evelyn) Fryrear and Mrs. Clinton (Margaeret) Harrington, both of Salix; and six grandchildren.
