Funeral services for Edward J. Egger, 78, Holly Springs farmer, who died Tuesday, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the German City Evangelical church.

Rev. Henry Held will officiate. Burial will be in the German city ecemetery [cemetery] under the direction of the Willman funeral home of Rodney.

Mr. Egger was born in Monroe county, Chicago, January 17, 1878. He moved to this vicinity in 1885 and farmed most of his life.

Survivors include two brothers, Albert of Primghar and Charlie of Hornick; five sisters, Mrs. Rosie Koontz, the Misses Lyda and Mary Egger and Mrs. Anna Sulsberger, all of Hornick, and Mrs. Freda Sulsberger of Climbing Hill, and eight nieces and nephews
