Funeral Services Held For Carl J. Fisher

Funeral services for Carl Jerome Fisher, 58, of Lawler were held on Monday, May 21, 1979, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Lawler. Fr. John Moran officiated. Interment was in Mount Carmel Cemetery. The wake service was held at Larkin-Martin Funeral Home, Lawler Chapel, on Sunday, May 20.

Mr. Fisher was born February 2, 1921 at the family farm near Lawler. Following graduation from Lawler High School, he farmed in the area. He married Lorraine Huber on November 26, 1945. He was a member of the Mount Carmel Church.

He died Friday, May 18, 1979 at St. Joseph Community Hospital in New Hampton. He had been in failing health for a number of years, and caused of death was listed as emphysema.

He is survived by eight children, including Jim Fisher of Moville; five grandchildren and five sisters.
