Beatrice Fern Chiles Hollister, 1905-1968

Mrs. Beatrice Fern Hollister, 63, Salem, Ore. – Died Dec. 7, 1968, Salem hospital short illness. Funeral 1 p.m. Dec. 11, Rodney United Church of Christ, Rodney, Iowa, Elder Glen Ford will officiate. Burial in Grant Township Cemetery near Rodney, under direction of Willman Funeral Home, Rodney.

Born March 9, 1905, southwestern Iowa. Former Beatrice Chiles. Married Orville Hollister, Woodbury County, October 1924. Lived in Climbing Hill, Rodney, and Mapleton, Iowa, before moving to Glendale, Calif., 1943. Moved Salem 1967.

Survivors include widower, daughter, Mrs. Eloise Crane, San Jose, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Mabel Camerer and Mrs. Helen Graham both of Glendale; Miss Naomi Chiles, Independence, Mo; a brother, William Chiles, Sioux City; and three grandchildren.
