A.W. Bottjen Dies At Hornick

Word was received in Moville early Wednesday morning, March 31, 1954, of the death of Mr. A.W. Bottjen, which occurred at his home in Hornick, following a long illness. Mr. Bottjen was Mrs. Albert Wink’s father.

Funeral services are being planned for Friday afternoon, at 2 o’clock in the Methodist church in Hornick. Burial will be in Sioux City.

Surviving are the widow and one daughter, Ann, (Mrs. Wink) and two sons, Arnold, of St. Paul and Clarence, of Custer, S.D. There are eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Bottjen was a brother of George Bottjen of Remsen, but who formerly resided in this area.
