Marty M. Buhrman, 50, of Sioux City die Sunday, November 23, 1997 in Lincoln, Nebraska, following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill G. Muller, pastor of Riverside United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Private burial will be Saturday at Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today with the family present from 6 to 9 p. m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Buhrman was born March 1, 1947, in Eugene, Oregon, the daughter of Richard M. and Laura R. (Crawford) Gott. She moved with her family to Sioux City as a child. She graduated from Central High School in 1965.

She married Donald F. Buhrman on December 26, 1966 in Sioux City.

She was employed as a lunchroom aide at Emerson Elementary School for several years and provided day care in her home for many years. She enjoyed working on the computer.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Tina Buhrman of Sioux City, a brother and his wife, Rick and Ann Gott of Girard, Ohio, a sister and her husband, Laurie and Jose Molina of Sioux City and two grandchildren, Destiny and Sataya Buhrman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Rich.
