Joann P. Renfro, 86, of Sioux City, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in Sioux City.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 406 12th Street. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.
Joann was born on July 17, 1931 in Sioux City, the daughter of Rollie and Catherine Friend. She graduated from East High School. On Jan. 22, 1970, Joann was united in marriage to Wayne Renfro.
Joann was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church. She was a bookkeeper and child care provider. Joann liked needlepoint, and caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (David) Pope and a stepdaughter, Susie (Jim) Clinton; five grandchildren, Aidan, Sydney, Jacob, Luke and Alison; a great-grandson, Gavin; her brother, Arnold (Phyllis) Friend; and many nieces and nephews.
Joann is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; sister, Carol; and brother, Bill.
