Marjory Eleanor Middleton, 97, formerly of Sioux City, passed away suddenly on Jan. 11, 2018, in Richardson, Texas.
The body was cremated. Interment in Graceland Cemetery will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018.
Marjory was born March 26, 1920, in Onida, S.D. She came to Sioux City with her parents in 1925, attended Sioux City public schools, graduating from East High School and attended Edwards Business Institute. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield after over 19 years of service.
On Feb. 28, 1942 she married Daniel L. Middleton. He passed away on Nov. 28, 1996.
Marjory was a member of Chapter KE-PEO, was active in Jaycee Sues (an auxiliary of Junior Chamber of Commerce), Beta Signa Phi Sorority, Abu Beker Women's Auxiliary and an avid golfer and boater.
Marjory is survived by a daughter, Jana Domke and her husband, Mark Duhon; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Middleton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl H. and May Notson Gall; three sisters, Gretchen Shoemaker, Rachel Speckhart and Constance Rehr; and a brother, Gary C. Gall.
