Moville, Iowa -- Marvin G. Parker, 59, of Moville and formerly of Smithland died Saturday, November 28, 1992 at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Willman Funeral Home in Rodney with the Rev. Dale Church officiating. Burial will be in the Little Sioux Township Cemetery at Smithland. Visitation will be 6:30 – 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Moville.

Mr. Parker was born May 1, 1933, in Ute. He graduated from Smithland High School and attended DeVries Electrical School in Chicago. He married Nancy Riley October 16, 1966, in Rodney. He had been a resident of Moville the last 25 years, where he was a radio technician.

Mr. Parker was a member of the United Methodist Church in Moville.

Survivors include his wife, his father, Basil Parker of Moville; a sister-in-law, Ruby Yanak of Onawa; a brother-in-law, David Yanak of Onawa, an uncle, Ralph Payne of Smithand and a cousin, Herbert and his wife, Tresa Payne of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alvena Sievers Parker.
