Former S.C. Resident Dies
Mrs. May Alt Spees Passes Away in Billings, Montana

Word was received in Sioux City Sunday afternoon of the death of Mrs. May Alt Spees, in Billings, Montana of complications, January 12. Mrs. Spees, who was 41 years old, having been born October 26, 1881, lived here until eight years ago, when she moved to Montana.

Carl Spees, her husband and one son, Arthur, both living in Billings, survive Mrs. Spees. Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Lillian E. Joseph, 2017 West Third Street, Sioux City and a sister, Zetta Joseph who also resides here. She leaves two brothers, George H. Alt and Frank J. Alt, also of this city.

Funeral arrangements are pending as the body is being brought here for burial.
