Furrier’s Wife Called By Death
Mrs. August Williges Expires at Age of 61—Ill for Long Time

Death Friday night claimed Mrs. Regina Maria Williges, wife of August Williges, furrier, 1911 Summit Street, after a prolonged illness.

The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, at the residence. Officers of Rose Croix chapter No. b00, O.E.S. will perform the regular burial service and Rev., C.E. Snyder, pastor of the First Unitarian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Logan Cemetery.

Last week Mrs. Williges celebrated her 61st birthday, having been born January 18, 1862, near Heidelberg, Germany.

Coming to the United States in 1884, Mrs. Williges, then Miss Regina Schroff, was married in New York to August Williges. In 1895 they came to Sioux City and had resided here since.

Mrs. Williges was a member of Rose Croix Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and Mizpah Shrine.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, two sons and two grandchildren. The children are Mrs. Mathilde Jorgenson, Helen, Elsie, Will and Henry George Williges. The grandchildren are Billy Williges and Helen Jorgenson.

Funeral Services Will Be Held at Residence at 2:30 O’clock

Funeral services for Mrs. Regina Maria Williges who died Friday night, following a long illness, will be held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon at the residence, 1911 Summit Street. Mrs. Williges was the wife of August Williges, furrier.

Officers of Rose Croix chapter, No. 400, O.E.S., will perform the regular burial ritual of the order, and Rev. C. E. Snyder, pastor of the First Unitarian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Logan Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Henry Trautwein, George Jepson, John Greve, William Cunningham, J.W. Gray and Paul A. Ketels.

A previous announcement that the services would be held at 3:30 o’clock was incorrect.
