Death Calls F.M. Ehlerman
President Wholesale Firm Passes Away
Pneumonia Causes Demise
Deceased Was Member of the Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club—Resided in the City 22 years

Frederick M. Ehlerman, 3034 Pierce Street, president of Ehlerman Bros. company, Inc., of Sioux City, died Thursday night in a Sioux City Hospital of pneumonia.

Born November 20, 1882, Mr. Ehlerman was 44 years old and had lived in Sioux City about 22 years, coming here from Fulda, Ohio where he was born.

Besides his widow and two small daughters, Margaret and Betty, Mr. Ehlerman is survived by his father, J.C. Ehlerman, of Caldwell, Ohio and six brothers, William A. Caldwell (this is what is printed) of this city and Adolph, Terrence, Julius, Earnest and Chris Ehlerman, all of Caldwell. Three sisters also survive him. They are Mrs. William Arnold, Mrs. Frank Smith and Miss Cecilia Ehlerman of Caldwell.

When he came to this city Mr. Ehlerman was first employed as traveling salesman for a wholesale grocery company. About 14 years ago he established the firm of which he was head when he died.

Mr. Ehlerman was a member of the Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club.

The body is held at Kidd’s undertaking parlors pending funeral arrangements.
