Westwood graduate of 1962 dies

Patricia J. McLarty Husk, age 56, of Sioux City, Iowa, died Monday, January 15, 2001, at Sioux City.

Memorial services were held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 18 at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Anthon with Pastor Tony Green officiating. Burial was in the Oto cemetery, Oto.

Patricia Jane McLarty Husk was born March 17, 1944 at Hornick, Iowa, the daughter of James McLarty, Sr. and Waneta (Scott) McLarty. She graduated with the Westwood High School Class of 1962 and moved to Sioux City. She married Willard Husk in 1977. He died in 1993.

She was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Sioux City.

Those survivors left to cherish Patricia’s memory include one brother, James “Butch” McLarty, Jr. and his wife, Masako “Missy” of Oto, Iowa and one niece, Cherrel McLarty of Des Plaines, Illinois.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
