Mrs. J.D. O’Connor

Mrs. J.D. O’Connor, 68, of 102 Metz Apartments, Sioux City resident for more than 40 years, died Tuesday in a local hospital of heart complications. The body now in Larkin’s Funeral Home, will be taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.C. Mullaney, 2125 Summit, Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. O’Connor was born July 12, 1870 at Lincoln, Nebraska. In March 1884, she moved with her parents to Council Bluffs, Iowa, later came to Sioux City and married Mr. O’Connor in 1893 and she had resided here since.

Survivors include five children, Mrs. Mullaney, Frank of South Sioux City and Edward, Charles and Eugene, all of Sioux City.

Funeral services for Mrs. J.D. O’Connor, 68, of 102 Metz apartments, will be conducted Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. T.M. Parle officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. O’Connor died Tuesday in a local hospital of heart complications.

The body will be taken from Larkin’s Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon to the home of Mrs. O’Connor’s daughter, Mrs. J.C. Mullaney, 2125 Summit.
