Mrs. Rachel R. Kuhrt, 52, resident here since 1912, died in her home, 1714 West Second, Tuesday of conditions resulting from goiter. She was born September 7, 1886, at Sergeant Bluff, Iowa and belonged to the Third Presbyterian Church here.

Survivors include her widower, Karl Kuhrt, a son, Hugh, of Los Angeles, three daughters, Mrs. Dale Sprague and the misses Ruth and Caroline Kuhrt, all of Sioux City, and five brothers, W.J. Welch of Galveston, Texas, C.B. Welch of Portland, Oregon, L.A. Welch of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, H. Z. Welch of Brooklyn, New York and L.E. Welch of Sergeant Bluff.

Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rachel R. Kuhrt

Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel R. Kuhrt, 52, resident here since 1912, will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Anderson’s Chapel with Rev. Richard A. Burrows, pastor of Third Presbyterian officiating. Burial will be in the Sergeant Bluff Cemetery.

Mrs. Kuhrt died Tuesday of conditions resulting from goiter in her home at 1714 West Second. She was born September 7, 1886 at Sergeant Bluff and belonged to Third Presbyterian Church here.
