Elizabeth Jean "Bette" Antrim, 93, South Sioux City, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rex Wentzel officiating Burial will be in Dakota City Cemetery. Following the service at the cemetery, there will a gathering at the First Presbyterian Church in South Sioux City for time to share memories. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bette was born on Oct. 25, 1924, in rural Sloan, Iowa, the daughter of Calvin T. and Mary (Chartier) Godsey. She married Roy C. Folkins. After his death, she married Charles H. Antrim on Nov. 6, 1959 in Omaha. She was employed as an insurance underwriter for Grandy Pratt Insurance for more than 50 year, retiring on Nov. 1, 1987.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in South Sioux City, where she served as a deacon. She was a member of the Sioux City Insurance Women's Association, a longtime member of the Chamberettes and served as treasurer, and the Abu Bekr Shrine Women's Auxiliary.

Survivors include a niece, Sharon and her husband, Jerry Collins of South Sioux City; a nephew, David Godsey of Sloan; sister-in-law, Lorraine Godsey; nephews-in-law, Jerry (Shirley) Sides, and Dennis (Bea) Sides; niece-in-law, Jeannie (Bob) Sailor; grandnephew: Mike (Kate) Collins, Nicholas (Amanda) Collins, and great-grandniece and nephews, Arabella and Jayden Collins, Matthew and Jason Godsey, and Riley and Lizzy Collins.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Sides, Dennis Sides, Matthew and Jason Godsey, Nick and Mike Collins.

Memorials be sent to Abu Bekr Transportation Fund in memory of Bette.
