24 June 1946William L. Ross, 73, 3308 Sixth Avenue, died Sunday at a hospital after a long illness.
Survivors are the widow, Mollie, seven sons, Charles, William, Vern, Marvin, Alvin, Neil and Terrance, all of Sioux City, five daughters, Mrs. Terry George of San Francisco, Mrs. Ruth Warden, Mrs. Evelyn Heslop, Mrs. Sylvan Johnson and Miss Mable Ross, all of Sioux City, a brother, Charles of Mincon, Oklahoma, twin sisters, Mrs. William Rose of Moncon and Mrs. Maude Barger of Coleridge, Nebraska, 20 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George C. Mitchell, Frank McDole, Dell Creighton, Charles Osmeyer, William O’Neill and H.M. Edwards.
