Shaun was born Dec. 6, 1977 in Sioux City, the son of Robert and Beverly (Connin) Perry.

Shaun enjoyed traveling and was affectionately referred to as “Back Pack Billy.” He had many friends who, over the years became family. Shaun had a heart of gold and helped everyone he could. Shaun literally gave anyone the shirt off his back. He enjoyed rock music and often listened to Grateful Dead, The Doors, Steve Miller Band, and many others. Shaun spent many years sharing his skills and love with a dear cousin, Anthony. His sense of style was one of his own, and he loved to dance like no one was watching.

Shaun is survived by his mother, Beverly Perry (Art Ericsson); siblings, Jeremy (Amanda) Ericsson, Eric (Hannah) Perry, Ryan Perry, Gary Ericsson and Amber (James) Wetrosky; a brother in law, Dan Kuehl; Tracy Lofshult; grandmother, Marian Perry; aunts, Mari (Uncle Steve) Kramer, Virginia (Tom) Martinez and Charlene (Chuck) McCoy; uncles, Rick Connin and Michael (Lynn) Redden and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Towards the end of his life, Shaun was blessed to find love in the truest sense with Nikki Jarman.

He is also survived by his beloved dog, Natalie Ann and his best friend, Brad Gardner.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rob Perry; maternal grandparents, Richard Sr. and Barbara Connin; paternal grandfather, Lester Perry; aunt, Christine Connin; aunt, Barb Connin and uncle Robert James.

Shaun lived more in his short 40 years than most men do in a lifetime. Stay golden, Shaun Boy.
