Angeline Twiss Watson, 91, of Sioux City, died Sunday, January 9, 2000 at her residence.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Sheryl Ashley officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watson was born November 8, 1908, in Holt County, Nebraska, the daughter of Earl LeRoy and Jennie Lovina (Nolze) Twiss.

She married Franklin James Watson on November 11, 1947 in Sioux City. She was employed in the lab with Johnson Biscuit Co. for 33 years before retiring. He died May 11, 1986.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Moose Lodge, Golden Years Club, Royal Neighbors and Girls of “68.

Survivors include a brother, Wallace of Clearwater, Nebraska; five sisters and their husbands, Charlene and Walter Lange and Mackie and Wayne Patras, all of Clearwater, Melpha and Fred Hiser of Litchfield, Nebraska, Marcene and Lyle Williams of Broken Bow, Nebraska and Olive “Tim” and Edward Nikles of Lincoln and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Memorials in her name may be directed to Grace United Methodist Church.
