Jess Kelly, 55, 2625 S. Coral St., died Saturday evening at his home.

Mr. Kelly was born May 12, 1917 at Smithland and he attended school there. He served in Europe during World War II and married the former Ruth Langston August 4, 1946 at Oto. They moved to Sioux City 26 years ago.

Mr. Kelly was employed as a passenger bus driver by SMB Stagelines, driving to Des Moines. He also was employed by Arrow and Allied Tours. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the widow, a son, Doyle D. of Sioux City; two brothers, Deryl R. of Sioux City and Loyal of Sacramento, California and his mother, Mrs. Bessie V. Kelly of Sioux City.

The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.
