Mrs. Myra Nelson Clauser, 87, of Hornick, died Thursday at a Sioux City hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Clauser was born August 26, 1871 at Smithland, Iowa. She was married to Charles Nelson on November 14, 1901 in Sioux City. They moved to Hornick in 1912. Mr. Nelson died in 1931 at Sioux City. She was married to Nye Clauser in 1951 in Sioux City. They moved to San Bernardino, California shortly afterward. She returned to Hornick about two months ago.

Survivors include the widower; a sister, Mrs. James Tresham of Amity, Oregon and several nieces and nephews.

The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Morningside Funeral Home.
