Rites Tuesday for James Cox

Funeral services for James Duane Cox, 16, 1807 Court Street, who died Saturday night at a hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Central Baptist Church. Rev. James Brygger, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery at Smithland, under direction of the Wass Funeral Home of Beresford. The body will be at the Church from 12 noon until time for the funeral.

James, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Darrel Cox, was born August 12, 1947 in Sioux City.

He spent most of his life in Minnesota, returning to Iowa in 1961. He was a junior at Central High School.

Survivors include the parents; a sister, Dorothy at home; three brothers, Donald of Minneapolis, Raymond of Mound, Minnesota and Dean at home, and a grandfather, Gus Turman of Centerville, S.D.
