C. Joan Hilts, 76, of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, S.D., after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Christ Community Church, 404 S. 108th Ave., in Omaha. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Roeder Mortuary, Inc., 2727 N 108th St., in Omaha. Condolences may be sent online to www.RoederMortuary.com
She is survived by children, Mark (Teresa), Diane (Richard) Nyalka, and Susan (Mike) Kahler; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kay Tabscott, and Ken (Pam) Lewis; and many special family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Bob.
