Terry W. Bobo, 91, of Sioux City died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at Morningside Nursing and Rehab Center in Sioux City.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Francis of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Terry was born May 16, 1915, in Covin , Ala., the son of Charlie and Virginia (Brock) Bobo. He was raised in Covin and attended school there. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He was united in marriage to Helen Lucille Anderson on April 27, 1943, in South Sioux City. He came back to Sioux City in 1955 and had been a resident here ever since. He was employed in several different occupations throughout his working career including farming, a forest ranger, trailman, letter carrier and a greenskeeper at Floyd and Green Valley Golf Courses. He also worked at Gavin's Point Dam.

He was member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where he worked with the teenagers in the church. He was a member of the Letter Carriers Union. He enjoyed woodworking and golfing in the men's and couples leagues.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Luella Bobo of Sioux City; a daughter and her husband, Eileen and Gary Franken of Sioux City; two grandsons, Brent Camerer of Alaska, and Chad Camerer of Austin, Texas; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.
