Rebecca A. "Becky" Frisbie, 66, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home, with the Rev. Merrill Muller of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Rebecca was born Oct. 8, 1940, in Morehead, Minn., the daughter of Roderick J. and Evelyn S. (Pelkey) Montagne. She married Alan T. Frisbie. She had been a resident of Sioux City since the mid 1960s.

She loved animals, country music and being with people. She made friends easily.

Survivors include five children from her marriage to Alan, Brenda and her husband, Chip Groves, Tom Frisbie, Terry Frisbie, Lorraine Frisbie and Tim Frisbie, all of Sioux City; three children from a previous marriage, Franz Gruenstiener, Helena Gruenstiener and Alan Gruenstiener, all of Texas; three brothers and their wives, Dennis and Beadee Montagne of Roundup, Mont., Pierre "Pete" and Cheryl Montagne of Yankton, S.D., and Gary and Mary Beach of St. Paul, Minn.; three sisters, Sandy and her husband, Ron Hagen of Middleton, Wis., Linda and her husband, Merlin Morken of Minneapolis and Margaret Kiel of St. Paul, Minn.; eight grandchildren, Jerrica, Tucker, Elizabeth, Thomas, Makayla, Brendan, Shayleigh and Janine; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa Warren; a sister, Rosemary Hanson; and a brother, Allen Montagne.
