Betty W. Limoges, 86, of Sioux City, died unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. Andrew Galles, Celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a vigil service at 7p.m., at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave. Online condolences may be expressed at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Betty Wilma (Bowlin) Limoges, the daughter of Claire and Mary Frances Bowlin, was born on Dec. 5, 1930, in Sioux City. Betty was raised in Sioux City and graduated from Catholic high school.

On July 9, 1952, Betty was united in marriage to Richard Limoges in Elk Point, S.D. and this union was blessed with seven children. The family made their home in Sioux City and Betty was a homemaker.

Betty enjoyed traveling, camping, cooking and baking. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Betty was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Betty is survived by four sons, Richard (Barbara) Limoges Jr., Timothy Limoges, Daniel (Tammy) Limoges and Jerry (Yasmin) Limoges, all of Sioux City; three daughters, Pamela (Mark) Uden of Sioux City, Mary Walsh of South Sioux City, and Karen Anderson of Yellville, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Limoges Sr.; son-in-law, Tony Walsh; two granddaughters, Leighann and Pamela Kay Uden; and six siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of your choice.
