June Carol Morley, 91, of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at a Sioux Falls, S.D. hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

June was born Jan. 23, 1926, in Danbury, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Blanche Edwards.

She moved to Sioux City in 1943, where she later met and married Robert Morley on June 23, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2004.

June’s life passion was sewing, working for Betty’s Bridals and many clients out of her home. June even sewed her suit to be buried in, finishing just a month ago. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, playing slot machines, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Bob Morley of Sioux City, Terry (Allison) Morley of Beresford, S.D., and Mary Morley of Sioux City; daughter-in-law, Linda Morley of Sioux City; grandchildren, Katie Alexander of Omaha, Lisa (Jimmy) Meyer of Alamogordo, N.M., Jill (Tim) Berger of Sioux City, Lindsey Morley of Sioux City, Michael Winne of Beresford, and Adam Steinbrecher of Sioux Falls; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; children, Patricia Alexander and Mick Morley; grandsons, Christopher Alexander and Kelly Morley; five sisters; and one brother.
